Leonard joined MSL in 1998 and oversees operational aspects including HSE and Quality planning, technical appraisals and advice, engineering and feasibility studies, and client and partner engagement.
Dermot Connolly
Systems & Procurement Dir.
Responsible for all material procurement and subcontractor appointments as well as managing all areas of ICT. Having joined MSL in 2020, Dermot is an expert on the implementation of IT systems to improve process automation and business workflows.
Richard Lane
Chief Financial Officer
Manages all areas of the finance function including reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 and received his MBA in 2018. Joined MSL in 2021 and was promoted to CFO in 2023.
Brian McGrath
Managing Director
Brian sets the vision and culture for the organisation and has overall responsible for developing and implementing company strategy. Having progressed through procurement, project controls, estimating, and Lead Q.S. to his current role, when he was appointed Managing Director in 2017.
Maurice McGrath
Chairman
Maurice founded MSL in 1979, serving as Managing Director until 2017, and then moved to the Chairman role.
Conor McGrath
Production Dir.
Responsible for planning, organizing workshop resources, and output to meet project requirements. Conor joined MSL in 1998.
Orla McGrath
HR Director
Orla, currently HR Director at MSL, oversees HR and Marketing, creates and implements HR policies, develops strategies, ensures compliance, and aligns HR with the company vision. She joined MSL in 2012 as a management accountant, transitioned to HR in 2018, and was promoted to HR Director in 2024.

Kevin O’Sullivan
Commercial Director
Responsible for tendering department, monitoring and controlling project costs and revenues, focusing on the commercial success of term contracts and Captial Projects. Kevin joined MSL in 2010 and was appointed Commercial Director in 2019.
Dave Ronan
Projects Director
Manages MSL’s team of Project Managers, overseeing projects and high-level engagements. Dave joined MSL post-graduation in 2002 and became Projects Director in 2019.
